What is the Cloud?

I’m looking for some input and discussion around Cloud Computing and what people (real people) think it means and how they think it will affect them. I work in a heavy Sales environment and everyone is constantly talking about it as it has such a buzz at the moment. I’m looking for some feedback and honest opinions from people, whatever it may be.

What is the Cloud?,
Personally I see both sides of the Cloud, but I think the overall affect of it will be negative. With all of the concerns of security in this age of technology, that is going to be major downfall of it. If we cannot find a way to secure our online experiences from people gaining access to our systems now, having everything accessible from our browser will have exponentially increasing security breaches. Just my two cents.`
